OBS Clinic

The Bonnyville/Aspen Primary Care Network, and the Bonnyville Medical Clinic, are working together to provide improved prenatal care to the pregnant women in the Bonnyville area. .

The physicians and RN and program assistant work closely as a team to help make every pregnancy a positive, fulfilling experience. In April 2008, a "Shared Care" Maternity Clinic will be instituted involving all physicians who deliver babies. This new clinic format will offer consistent prenatal care and patient teaching to better prepare pregnant women and their partners for pregnancy, birth and parenthood. The OB team researches the latest information and is able to answer the many questions raised by their patients.

The goal of the clinic is to have each pregnant woman feel comfortable during her pregnancy while becoming ready for labour, birth and caring for her newborn.
